Palilula is one of the largest municipalities in Belgrade. The urban part, around Tašmajdan, Hadžipopovac and Bogoslovija, has narrow streets and old buildings without courtyards. On the left bank of the Danube, in Krnjača, Kotež and Ovča, there are more houses, warehouses and businesses along Pančevački put.
