A pothole or kerb can bend a rim. After that the tire holds air poorly, the steering shakes and the tread does not sit flat. Rim straightening tries to bring that back into line, if the damage is not too far gone.
We look at the rim on the spot. If on-site work makes sense, we do it. If the rim is cracked or the bend is too sharp, we say so plainly.
Signs the rim is wrong
Vibration that did not stop after balancing. A tire that keeps losing pressure. A visible dent in the flange. A hit you felt, then a strange sound from the wheel.
What we do
Assessment, then correction if the rim can take it. The aim is that the tire seats again. After the look you get a clear recommendation — work here, or another option.
